Michael oversees global marketing, sales development, product, and data science at Cendyn. He has over 24 years of international management experience, working with companies such as KSL Resorts & Capital, White Lodging, Knight-Ridder, The Nature Conservancy and Eastman Kodak. His specialties lie in marketing, ecommerce/digital and mobile implementations, all with a proven track record of success. Michael focuses on managing with an emphasis on profitable growth through an increase in CLV, while constantly reiterating creative marketing is only successful when held accountable to the results it produces. He currently sits on the national HSMAI marketing board when he has been proactively involved for the past 8 years. Michael leads our San Diego office where he currently resides with his wife and two beautiful daughters.

 

Isaac

Isaac Gerstenzang
Director of Marketing, Planning and Operations, Minor Hotels

Leader in the marketing and digital sectors with more than 21 years of proven success in the hospitality space. Recipient of the HSMAI Top 25: Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales, Marketing, Revenue Optimization. Earned an MBA from Syracuse University, and was a member of the HSMAI Marketing Advisory Board for over 8 years.  In his current role with Minor Hotels, Isaac is responsible for devising and developing the strategic annual marketing plan and oversees all marketing campaign planning and execution across all channels, in close collaboration with the eCommerce, CRM and Marketing teams. Additionally, Isaac is responsible for the website and CRM content strategies including the implementation of personalization and dynamic content to drive awareness and revenue to Anantara Hotels & Resorts and Avani Hotels.

 

 


Carolyn Hosna

As Vice President of Marketing for White Lodging, Carolyn Hosna is responsible for the digital strategy and execution of all hotel and restaurant integrated marketing initiatives for more than 100 premium branded hotels and restaurants across North America. Carolyn joined White Lodging in 2009 and has been recognized throughout her tenure, including the 2018 Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Marketing and has been the recipient of multiple Adrian Awards from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. She has more than 10 years of experience in hospitality marketing and a demonstrated track record of performance excellence. She is sought out as a subject matter expert in brand marketing, digital strategy and integrated media and represents White Lodging across the industry, including serving on the digital marketing advisory boards for Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton and on HSMAI’s Marketing Advisory Council.
